In order to be a part of the Bay Area One Billion Rising Flash Mob, participants must attend 2 rehearsals. The January 20th rehearsal is mandatory for all people who want to be in the January 26th filming, but not necessary for the February 14th or March 8th performances.

Vigil: Never Again Includes Palestinians
This vigil normally is held between noon and 2 p.m., but on May 2, it will be extended to 4 p.m. Come anytime in this window and stay for 1-2 hours. Noon - 4 PM
Vigil in front of the Holocaust Museum, across from the "Think About What You Saw" sign. One of the most popular attractions for tourists from around the world, the Holocaust Museum represents the struggle for human rights -- and it's the ideal place to remind visitors respectfully that atrocities are going on elsewhere -- including to Palestinians, at the hands of Israelis. Bring a sign; flyers for distribution will be provided.
ADC National Convention

Every year, more than 1,000 movers and shakers come together in DC to organize the Arab American community and advocate for their rights. Meet with the White House and Congress, get to know other Arab Americans, learn about ADC’s efforts and achievements, and help shape priorities. This year’s theme “It Starts with You” is a simple but profound statement reflecting how ADC exists for you, and has no purpose without you. The success of our work is largely determined by your participation and involvement.

No Drones, Peace Vigil
We will be holding our pink "No Drones" banners every Friday during April in front of the Hilo post office. 3:30 ~ 5:00 every Friday in APril
The vigil was started on September 12, 2001 to urge restraint not vengeance. We have continued every week since then.
Each week we prepare a new peace leaflet for distribution via the internet and our website, and also handed out to people in downtown Hilo.
The five points of unity for our weekly peace vigil are:
1. Mourn all victims of violence.
2. Reject war as a solution.
3. Defend civil liberties.
4. Oppose all discrimination, anti-Islamic, anti-Semitic, anti-Hawaiian, etc. 5. Seek peace through justice in Hawai`i and around the world.
At the vigils, people stand on the grass at the edge of the sidewalk holding a sign of their choice for peace. Bring your own sign if you wish,

Weekly Peace Vigil observes the 8th anniversary of the start of the Iraq War. We're on the Greenfield Town Common (corner of Rte 5/10 and 2A, Main St. and Federal St.) every Saturday from 11am-noon. Bring your own sign or use one from our sign bag. Bring our troops and war $ home.

The Suffolk Peace Network, Pax Christi, LI, CODEPINK LI are holding and informational vigil in front of BAE Systems Facility on Pulaski Road, Greenlawn, LI, NY every Friday from 4 PM to 5:30 PM. BAE Systems is 2nd largest defense contractor and makes parts for drones and other UAVs, but few people know that there is a large installation right here in the township of Huntington, Greenlawn, NY. Our signs tell about the 'precision killing systems' and "Drones Made Here" We have flyers for motorists that stop for them with more on BAE Systems.

Grandmothers Against the War vigil at Rockefeller Center
The vigil has been ongoing since Jan. 14, 2004, every single Wednesday from 4:30 to 5:30 pm on the west side of 5th Ave. between 49 and 50 Sts. 4:30 - 5:30 p.m.
This is probably the biggest and best-known regular anti-war vigil in New York City and has been going on for over 6 and a half years. We've never missed a single Wednesday no matter what the weather throws at us. At least 15-20 people participate in the vigil every week -- not just grannies but men (including a regular group of Veterans for Peace), and young people. We are a tourist attraction with many people from all over the world photographing us and engaging in conversation. Media regularly film and write about us.

Iraqi War Memorial

A flag is placed for every soldier killed in Iraq and Afghanistan. they sit in front of a huge banner which states: Mourn the Dead, Heal the Wounded, End the War.

Every Sunday, peace people gather on the steps of the Courthouse to petition for a redress of grievances. 6 PM
Stand Up! For Peace and Veterans For Peace Chapter 65 Wyoming invites all like-minded peace people to meet on the steps of the Albany County Courthouse. Once again, we petition for the redress of grievances. A display of the names of soldiers lost to the war on Iraq, both in country and after returning, will be displayed (weather permitting).
