Antiwar Conference Cambridge January 30, 2010 CODEPINK Greater Boston & Maine Solon, ME

	CODEPINK joined New England United and many regional groups to hold an educational conference and organizing meeting at MIT on Jan 30. An overflow crowd of about 400 attended from all the New England states and beyond. Ten workshops were held including from Haiti, Latin America, and a report back from the Gaza Freedom March led by Sara Roche-Mahdi and Nancy Murray. Lisa Savage, Maine coordinator, moderated a panel with two terrific woman speakers: Salma Abu Ayyash, Palestinian activist and Pardiss Kebriaei, Guantanamo Attorney at the Center for Constitutional Rights.
